Nehru College of Engineering & Research Centre Pampady
Nehru College of Engineering & Research Centre was established in the year 1968 as a private and self-financing engineering college. By the time, it turns to the research centre and got the affiliation with the University of Calicut. The college is approved by the AICTE and certified as an ISO 9001:2008 institution.
Campus
The campus is spread over an area of 40 acres of land in Pampady. The campus is located 7 km from the nearest Lakkidi railway station and 50 km from Thrissur. The campus is established on the bank of holy river Nila on the northern slopes of Thiruvilwamala.
Facilities
The campus comprises of conference hall, auditorium, football ground, café, labs, fitness centre, girls & boys hostels, ATM, canteen, basketball court, seminar hall, library, classrooms and staff rooms. The campus provides the internet and wi-fi facility and transportation facility.
Programmes
The NCERC campus offers the 7 B.Tech and 7 M.Tech courses in the engineering field. The campus also offers the master degrees in computer applications and business management. The Career Guidance & Placement Cell (CGPC) has been established in the college from the inception of the institution. The major recruiters of the college are Infosys, IBM, and IBS software, L&T, Syntel, Cognizant, Poornam Software, Patni Computers, Accenture, Honeywell, TCS, Sasken and Essar India.
