National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Ernakulam
The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi was established in the year 2005. Formerly, it is known as National Institute for Advanced Legal Studies. NUALS has the recognition from University Grants Commission (UGC).
Campus
The campus of National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) has been constructed over 10 acres of land. The University has its state-of-the-art campus in the Kinfra Hi-Tech Park at Kalamassery, Kochi, Kerala.
Facilities
NUALS provides adequate facilities for the comfortable living of the students. It has separate hostels for girls and boys. The world-class infrastructure of the university has academic block equipped with all the modern facilities that include open and large classrooms, well-stocked library containing law books, reference books, journnals, etc. In addition to this, the University has an air-conditioned auditorium for conducting seminars and presentations. It has conference hall for organizing meetings, a well-designed and fully furnished moot court for law practices.

NUALS offers full-time degree programmes like B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M (International Trade Law and Constitutional and Administrative Law) and postgraduate diploma. It also regulates certificate course in banking law. Popular law courses offered by the University are listed below:

Admission
Admission to the integrated law course and postgraduate courses of NUALS is offered through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) conducted by the National Law Universities (NLUs). Interested and eligible candidates can take the test. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidate’s performance in CLAT.
