National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam
National Law University and Judicial Academy was established in the year of 2009 by the Government of Assam through Assam Act No. XXV of 2009. It is a public university which is approved by UGC (University Grants Commission). All the law courses are approved by the BCI (Bar Council of India). This university is one of the top seventeen national law universities of the country.
Campus
This university has a modern and sprawling campus situated in B.K. Kakati Road, Guwahati. Guwahati is the district of the state of Assam. The campus is located nearby to State Bank of India (South Guwahati Branch).
Facilities
This university has three residential halls to provide accommodation facility separately for boys and girls students. Hostel rooms are clean and fully furnished and equipped with common room, mess, indoor games facility. The library has a vast collection of books on law, social science and other allied subjects. This university houses a computer centre equipped with high-end blade servers, high speed internet, high configured desktops and many others.

National Law University and Judicial Academy offer UG, PG and doctoral courses in the field of law like BA. LL.B (Hons.), LL.M and Ph.D in law. This university gives admission in 60 seats for BA. LL.B (Hons.) and 10 seats for LL.M course. The courses offered by this university are mentioned below:

Admission
Students are required to appear for the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) to get admission into UG and PG law courses. Admissions into Ph.D courses will be done through a written test conducted by the university. Candidates who have qualified the UGC NET, SLET, JRF and M. Phill are exempted from the Ph.D admission test.
