National Institute of Technology (NITMZ), Aizawl
National Institute of Technology (NITMZ), Aizawl was established in the year 2010. It was approved by Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD). The institute has been declared as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament.
Campus
NIT Mizoram is located at Aizawl, Mizoram. The total demarcated area of campus is 190.35 acre. It consists of administrative block, academic blocks and hostel blocks.
Facilities
The institute provides all the major facilities to their students. It provides residential facilities for both boys and girls studying in the institute, library, health facility, auditorium, computer labs, well ventailated class rooms, uninterrupted power supply, internet facility and well maintained canteen.
Programmes
The institute offers undergraduate courses in the field of engineering. It also provides PhD programmes in field of Engineering and Physics, Chemistry, Humanities and Social Science.

The institute has a training and placement cell which provides placements to the students. The institute provides placement in the following companies BHEL, Indian Oil, NPCIL, BSNL, HP, UP Tech etc, Master Software, NTPC, ONGC, CEPTA, Indian Railways, Microsoft, Tata Tiscon, HPL, Ascent, Intel, and CEL etc.
