National Centre for Rural Development Sterling Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai was came into existence in the year of 2004 under the aegis of National Centre for Rural Development (NCRD). This institution is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and Government of Maharashtra.
