Narnarayan Shastri Institute of Technology, Ahmedabad

Narnarayan Shastri Institute of Technology (NSIT) is a self-financed and private institution set up by the Swaminarayan Vividh Seva Niketan Trust. The college was established in the year 2008. The NSIT is affiliated to the Gujarat Technological University and approved by the State Directorate of Technical Education, AICTE & Ministry of HRD and Government of Gujarat. The NSIT is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution.

Campus:

The NSIT campus is sited on the Ahmedabad – Kheda National Highway-8 at Swaminarayan Gurukul-Jetalpur at Daskroi in District Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The campus is 15 km away from the Ahmedabad City and 40 km from the Ahmedabad Airport.

Programmes:

The NSIT is conducting the UG programme in six disciplines and PG programme in two disciplines in the field of engineering and technology.

Students, Faculty & Staff:

For the admission in all programmes, the NSIT is offering the 576 seats as the annual intake. All departments strengthen with 107 faculty members and 47 non-teaching staff.

Facilities:

The NSIT is providing the spacious classrooms, laboratories, workshops, a library, computing facility, hostel facility for boys, seminar hall, canteen, auditorium playground, transport facility, primary health centre, common room, post office and bank.

Activities:

The campus participates in paper presentation in national and international seminars & conferences. The college has developed various committees and club to facilitate the students. The college conducts the sports, camp and cultural activities.

Placement:

The NSIT has been established a committee of training & placement having six members. The committee regulates all activities of placement works. The placement cell provides the job opportunities for the students.
