Mysore Medical College is also known as government medical college and was established in the year 1924. The Institution is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and approved by Medical Council of India (MCI).
Campus
The institution is located in heart of the Mysore city adjacent to the railway station. The institution has a globally remarked infrastructure which consists of academic and student blocks. The campus is well equipped with all the remarkable facilities.
Facilities
This institution houses separate hostels for boys and girls within the campus. Programme
Mysore Medical College offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the medical field. The institution offers undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) which is having the duration of four and a half years with the compulsory rotational training of one year. The institution also offers postgraduate degree in MD and MS programme which are having the duration of three years.
