Modern Dental College and Research Centre, Indore was established in the year of 2000. It is approved by the Dental Council of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi. The college is affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishvavidhyalaya, Indore.
Campus
The college campus is spread over an area of more than 5 acres that is situated near Indore Airport. The campus is located at Gandhi Nagar, Airport Road, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The college has a separate student and administrative blocks.
Facilities
The campus comprises of clinical departments, academic block, staff quarters, auditorium, canteen and playgrounds. The College offers transportation services to the students. There are separate hostel for both girls and boys with the mess and 24×7 security facilities. The college has a central library and an e-library spread over 10,000 sq ft of library space. The library is well-stocked with the periodical subscriptions, textbooks and reference books, multiple journals, a comprehensive Med Line CD collection, newspaper and EBSCO subscription for e-learning.
Programmes
Modern Dental College and Research Centre, Indore offers Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and 3 years Master of Dental Surgery (MDS). The time duration of BDS is 4 years + 1 year compulsory Internship. The seats will be filled by State Government’s Pre-Medical Test (PMT)/Pre P.G. Entrance examination. To get an admission in BDS programme, the candidate has to qualify their 10+2 or an equivalent examination with PCB from a recognized Board of Secondary Education and India University. The graduate candidate can also apply for BDS course with one or more subject other than PCB.
