MGM Medical College, Aurangabad

MGM Medical College, Aurangabad is a constituent part of the MGM University that was established in the year of 1990. The college is approved by the Medical Council of India, New Delhi and affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. It is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Campus

The college is situated at Cidco, Aurangabad, Maharashtra whose campus is spread over 25 acres of land. The building of the college is constructed over 4, 50,000 sq ft. area. The Hospital is attached with the college.

Facilities

The classrooms are well-equipped with the modern facilities such as LCD projector and audio-visual aids. The central library is well-stocked with the latest books, Indian and foreign journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines and reports. The college offers the accommodation facility for both; girls and boys. Other facilities are staff accommodation, cafeteria, gym, medical, indoor and outdoor sports. The attached hospital has a radiology department, pathology department, blood bank facility, operation theaters along with SICU, including OT facility, etc.

Programmes

MGM Medical College, Aurangabad provides Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). The time duration of the MBBS course is 5½ Yrs + including 1 yr. internship. 150 seats are available for the MBBS programme. Candidates have to pass XII Std. / Equivalent + MGM CET to get admission in MBBS programme.
