MGM Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai
MGM Dental College and Hospital offers a variety of undergraduate courses in nursing, medicine and related areas and offers postgraduate courses in all the basic and clinical medical super-specialties and specialties. The institution was established in the year 2003 and is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and approved by Dental Council of India (DCI).
Campus
The institution is situated in Navi Mumbai. The campus provides a physical environment that is conductive for work and progress. The campus is well-established with all the modern facilities with separate academic blocks and student’s blocks.
Facilities
Various necessary facilities are provided by the institution such as a well-facilitated computer centre. The institution has air-conditioned and spacious lecture halls with the facility of OHP, LCD and projector. It has a library which has a collection of books, journals, periodicals and magazines. The institution has provide separate accommodation facility for boys and girls along with the mess facility. It has an auditorium, a conference hall and also provides sports facility to the students.
Programmes
The institution provide undergraduate and postgraduate programme in the medical field. The institution offers undergraduate course in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and postgraduate course in Master of Dental Surgery (MDS). The duration of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course is four and a half years with the compulsory rotational internship training of one year while the duration of the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) course is three years.
