Mayurbhanj Medical Academy, Mayurbhanj is a self-financing Pharmacy institution located in the State of Orissa. The institution was established in the year 1992. The institution is approved by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India), New Delhi and affiliated to the Orrisa State Board of Pharmacy, Bhubaneswar, Orrisa.

Campus

The campus of the institution is well-connected with buses from Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and many other parts of the city. The nearest railway station is Baripada which is 3.5 kms from the institution and the nearest airport is Kolkata which is 220 kms from the place of institution. The campus is located on National Highway (NH-5) connecting Kolkata to Chennai. The campus is spread over an area of 17 acres of land.

Facilities

The institution has different well-equipped sophisticated laboratories to carry out all practical works. It has transport facilities for the students and staff. Among the other facilities college has canteen, playground, computer labs, herbal garden, cultural activities, medical health aids, banking, security, etc. The college also arranges the three month training session for the students of D.Pharma after completion of their course.

Programmes

The Mayurbhanj Medical Academy, Mayurbhanj offers only Diploma in Pharmacy. The maximum intake capacity in this course is 60 per annum. The diploma course offered here in the Pharmacy is three year course. For admission in the D.Pharma course, the candidates have to pass the 10/ 10+2 with Science stream by recognized Board.
