Maya College of Agriculture and Technology, Dehradun was founded in year 2000 by a group of leading Education, Professionals and Philanthropists. The society aims at creating knowledge centers in the field of Education, Training, Research and Consultancy. The college is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) and HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar (Garhwal). It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

Campus

Maya Group Colleges is situated in Selaqui, in a developing industry town on NH-72, Dehradun. It is spread over 22 acres of land just 40 minutes’ drives from Dehradun Railway Station. It is surrounded by Himalayan Mountain Range in the West Chakrata, Mussorrie. The campus is spacious, which allow students, administrative staff as well as faculty member adequate space for teaching and Research. Each section is well maintained and established.

Facilities

The academic block consists of fully equipped lecture halls with state-of-art audio-video facility. The tutorial room, laboratories, drawing hall, conference hall and a seminar hall is also present in the block. The hi-tech computer center and laboratories also form part of the academic block, along with a well-equipped library with qualitative of books, periodicals and journals. The college has many facilities regarding transport, mess, cafeteria, Internet, hostel etc.

The college is committed to promote and regulate basic & professional education in Engineering, Business Management, Agro & Technology, Computer Application, Hotel Management, Food & Catering technology, Pharmaceutical & Allied Science, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and biotechnology. The programmes offered in Agriculture field are affiliated to the Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University (UGC Recognized) Govt. of Uttarakhand. College provides regular training session held for the development of technical skills, Special lectures by the corporate are also held in the college premises so that the students can absorb the qualities.
