Maturi Venkata Subba Rao Engineering College (MVSREC) has been established in the year 1981. The college is a private and self-financing institution. The college is founded by the Matrusri Education Society. The institution is affiliated to the Osmania University and approved by the AICTE and Ministry of HRD.
Campus:
The campus is situated between the Inner Ring Road and the Outer Ring Road in Nadergul at Saroornagar Mandal in Hyderabad, the district of Andhra Pradesh. The campus is spread over in 18.7 acres of land located in the outskirt of the city.
Programmes:

For the current year, the MVSREC is offering the total 882 seats for admission as the annual intake capacity of all programmes. The campus has 202 faculty members from all departments.

The campus has hostel for boys, hostel for girls, spacious lecture halls, drawing halls, engineering & science laboratories, computer centre with internet facility, seminar hall, transport facility, canteen & Cafeteria, play field and a central library.
Activities:
The campus has conducted various national workshops, seminars and conferences round the period of its existence. The college organizes and participate actively in inter or intra university sports and cultural competition and social activities.

The MVSREC campus has established a Placement and Career Guidance Cell in the year 1997.
