Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer

Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University was founded on 1st August, 1987. It is a public university that is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).The University was accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore in 2004 as B++. There are 226 Private and Government College is affiliated to this University that are spread over four districts of the Rajasthan state.

Campus

The University campus is situated in Ajmer, Rajasthan. The campus is close to the village of Ghooghra that is 7 kms away from the city of Ajmer. It has a well-established infrastructure that includes magnificent buildings, Administrative and Examination Block and Management Block. The campus is fully connected with the wifi network.

Facilities

There is a Central Library with a good collection of general & reference books, journals, conference proceedings, reports, audio-visual material, statistics and CDs. The University has hi-tech science laboratories with well-equipped equipments. There is also a state-of-the-art Computer Centre with a hi-tech computer and internet facility. The University provides facilities such as classrooms, canteen, medical, seminar hall, conference hall and sports facility.
