Maharashtra College of Pharmacy, Latur
Maharashtra College of Pharmacy was founded in the year of 1984 by the Hon’ble Dr Shivajirao Patil Nilangekar. This college is managed under the Maharashtra Shikshan Samiti trust. This college is affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
Campus
The college has a sprawling campus located at Nilanga, Latur district of the state of Maharashtra. The nearest railway stations are Latur (50 km) and Solapur (110 km) away from the campus and the nearest airport is Hyderabad which is 210 kms away from the college.
Facilities
This college provides hostel facility for boys with the intake capacity of 70 students. It has a huge library which has a good collection of books, periodicals, projects, magazines, etc. It also has subscribed to 690 national and international journals. This college houses a Seminar hall/ Conference Hall with the seating capacity of 450 students to organize various functions. Other facilities are indoor and outdoor sports facility, herbal garden, gym, canteen, reading room, department wise laboratories, instrumentation room, etc.
Programmes
Maharashtra College of Pharmacy offers diploma, bachelor and master courses in the pharmacy field. The course duration of D.Pharma and M.Pharma course is two years. This college gives admission in 60 seats for D.Pharma and 18 seats for M.Pharma course.
