Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur is the second agricultural university of the state. It was established in the 1st November, 1999. The vision and mission of the university is to increase the level of agriculture in urban area. It has many constituent colleges in the Rajasthan state. The university is located in Udaipur. The university is approved by the Rajasthan Agriculture University (RAU). It offered the courses in the field of Engineering, Agriculture, Dairy & Food, Home Science and Fisheries.
Campus
The university is a state-of-the-art infrastructure. The campus of the college is located under the Aravali Hills. It is situated in Udaipur District, Rajasthan. The college has many departments in which eminent faculties are available. The faculties are well-experienced and highly qualified. In campus there are wide variety of facilities are present. It spread over 58 acres of the land. The campus is well connected with national highway and public transport.

The MPUAT University provides the various facilities to their students. The college has a Library in which 1000 plus books, text books, periodicals, journals, thesis are available. The college also provides the co-curricular activities like NCC & NSS. Placement
The placement cell actively organizes the different activities for the personality development. It also provides the guidance & information for the better placement of the young graduates of the university. It arranges the campus interviews for the employment in different agricultural organizations from time to time. It also provides the placement information to the students of the university.
