Maa Saraswati College of Pharmacy, Abohar

Maa Saraswati College of Pharmacy, Sangrur has been established under the Management of Maa Saraswati Educational Society. The college is affiliated with the Punjab Technical University (PTU) and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is located in the Sitto Dabwali Road, Abohar. It offers the Diploma in Pharmacy of two years.

Campus

Maa Saraswati College of Pharmacy has an area of over 5 acres. It has qualified and experienced faculty, fully equipped and spacious laboratories, well furnished library with well stocked national and international journals and e journals, hi-speed internet connectivity, museum, industrial training on emerging technologies, separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, spacious sports field and organization of social welfare programmes and a Medical Care Center.

It has well equipped and spacious library subscribes national and international journals, e journals and hundreds of books related to Pharmaceutical Sciences. The college has well furnished and ventilated class-rooms with modern teaching aids like multimedia projectors attached with computers, slide projectors, projectors, etc. The college has conference room with presentation facility. Also a separate hostel for both girls and boys.

Programmes

Maa Saraswati College of Pharmacy offers Diploma course. It conducts the D.Pharma in Pharmacy. The duration of the Diploma course is of two years. The Student who wants to join this course will eligible only if he/she passed the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics. There is no age limit for the admission in this course.

Placement

The college has established a placement cell. It is responsible for arranging the practical training of the students in hospitals. It also assists in securing placements for the students. The college invites the various companies for the recruitment process. It also conducts the job fair every year for the students.
