LBS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Bhopal was established in the year 1966 by the effort of Dr. Late K. B. Srivastava. The LBS (Lal Bahadur Shastri) Homoeopathic Medical College is sponsored by L.B.S. Homoeopathic & Allied Education Society, a society registered under the M.P. Societies Registration Act, 1973. The campus is recognized and approved by Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi, Department of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh and Department of Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh. The campus is affiliated to Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal.

Campus

LBS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital is located in peaceful and green environment on National Highway (NH) – 10. The road is also called as Hoshangabad Road. The campus is situated near to the Kanha national park adjacent to the Kanha Fun City in Bhopal, the district and capital of Madhya Pradesh.

Facilities

The campus is having the well-developed infrastructural buildings of academic and administrative facilities. Campus has its own hospital which provides the practical scenario to the students as well as offers OPD treatment to the surrounding local residing people. Besides theses, the campus has well-stuffed library, well-equipped laboratories, In-Patient treatment facility with 150 beds.

Programmes

LBS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital offers 5 year’s & 6 month’s bachelor degree course in Homeopathy. The degree is known as BHMS (Bachelor in Homeopathy Medicine and Surgery). This time duration is included one year internship training (compulsory). The Internship shall be taken under the college associated hospital or government hospital as per CCH, Delhi. After the completion of 5-1/2 year’s course, the Barkatullah University will grant the Degree to every passed students.
