Laljibhai Chaturbhai Institute of Technology, Mehsana

Laljibhai Chaturbhai Institute of Technology (LCIT) was started in the educational session in 2002-03 as a private and self-financing institution set up by the Manchhiba Laljibhai Charitable Trust. The LCIT is affiliated to the Gujarat Technological University. The LCIT is approved by the State Directorate of Technical Education, AICTE & Ministry of HRD and Government of Gujarat.

Campus:

The LCIT campus is sited on the Mehsana – Unjha Highway in Lalji Educational Park at Post Bhandu & Tehsil Visnagar in Mehsana, the district of Gujarat. The LCIT campus is 10 km away from the Mehsana Railway Station and 82 km from Ahmedabad Airport.

Programmes:

The LCIT is conducting the B.E course in five branches of engineering M.E course in VLSI and MCA course in computer application.

Students & Faculty:

The LCIT has a total 438 intake capacity in all programmes. The college has around 80 faculty members from all departments.

Facilities:

The campus provides 18 classrooms, 34 laboratories, a computer centre, a central library, 2 auditoriums, 2 seminar halls, a cafeteria, indoor & outdoor sports facility, language lab, push chair for disabled students, separate boys’ & girls’ hostel, medical & hospital facility, and 24×7 security. The college provides the student safety insurance as per the state government.

Activities:

The LCIT campus organizes the cultural activities, sports activities, literary activities, technical activities, technical festival, industrial visits and educational tours.

Placement:

The LCIT has a training & placement department which provides the opportunity to face the on/off campus interview, trainings and internship. The TP department has developed the links with several industries.
