Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra
Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra was established as a unitary residential University on 11th January 1957. The foundation stone was laid by late Dr. Rajendra Prasad (First President of India). The University has 457 affiliated colleges and institutes in different districts. It is a public university that is approved by the University Grants Commission.
Campus
The University campus is situated on the western bank of holy Brahmsarover, Kurukshetra, Haryana. The campus is spread over 400 acres of land. The University is well-connected with the road & rail transportation. The campus is located just 5 km away from the Kurukshetra Railway Station.
Facilities
There is a facility of seminar rooms, lecture theaters, canteen, laboratories, moot court hall, computer lab with internet facility, medical, auditorium, playground, etc. The Library has rich gatherings of the standard books, textbooks, reference books, periodical, National & International journals such as Harvard Law Review, American of International Law, Halsbury Laws of England, etc. There is separate accommodation for girls & boys. The University has smart classrooms with the facility of LCD Projector.

Admission
The admission into LLB & LLM courses on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by the University. Students seek admission into LLB programme, they have to pass bachelor’s degree or master’s degree. Students have to secure at least 45% marks in the aggregate (40% for SC/ST category). Students have to complete LLB degree examination from a recognized university. Students who want to get admission into LLM course, they have to obtain minimum 55% marks in the aggregate (minimum passing marks for SC/ST category).
