Kurukshetra Institute of Technology and Management, Kurukshetra

Kurukshetra Institute of Technology & Management (KITM) was established in the year 2007 as a private and self-financing institution set up by the Shanti Devi Educational Trust. The KITM is approved by the Directorate of Technical Education Haryana, AICTE and MHRD, Govt. of India. The KITM is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution and affiliated to the Kurukshetra University.

Campus:

The KITM campus is situated on the Kurukshetra – Pehowa Road in Village Bhor Saidan in District Kurukshetra, Haryana. The campus is 13 km west of the Thanesar and 10 km from the Kurukshetra University. The KITM campus is spread over in 20 acres of land. The entire campus consists of three blocks as A, B & C.

Programmes:

The KITM conducts the B.Tech course in five engineering streams and M.Tech programme in two specializations of engineering and UG & PG course respective to the BBA and MBA programme.

Students, Faculty & Staff:

There are 582 seats offering by the KITM as the annual intake for admission in all programmes. The KITM has 81 faculty members and 67 non-teaching staff from all departments.

Facilities:

The KITM provides separate hostel for boys & girls, workshop, cafeteria, director’s residence, flats for faculty members, conference hall, auditorium, library, seminar hall, discussion hall, ATM, shopping mall, wi-fi internet and transportation.

Activities:

The KITM organizes extracurricular and co-curricular activities like Goonj, Buzz cat, thunder of bands and sports meet.

Placement:

The KITM has a well established training & placement cell. The cell is providing the job placement to the students by inviting the reputed corporate and recruiters. The cell provides the job oriented trainings and development programmes.
