KLE Society’s Institute of Dental Sciences was started in the year 1965. The institution is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and is approved by Dental Council of India (DCI). The institution offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various medical specialties.
Campus
The campus consists of separate academic and student block and is well-established with all the necessary facilities which are required for a medical college.
Facilities
The classrooms are well-ventilated and equipped with audio-visual aids to provide students a better learning experience. The institution has a spacious seminar hall to organize seminar, functions and other activities. The institution has a library equipped with journals, periodicals and project reports. It has a well-facilitated computer centre. The institution has a cafeteria and also provides sports facility (both indoor and outdoor) etc.
Programmes
KLE Society’s Institute of Dental Sciences, runs undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the medical field. The institution provides undergraduate course in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and postgraduate course in Master of Dental Surgery (MDS). The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course is having the duration of four and a half years along with the compulsory rotational internship of one year while the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) course is having the duration of three years.
