Kingston Law College, Kolkata

Kingston Law College was started in the year of 2004. This college is affiliated with West Bengal State University, Barasat and has an approval of the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi. This college is recognized by Higher Education Department, West Bengal.

Campus

The college has a sprawling campus located in Berunanpukuria, North 24 Parganas the district of the state of West Bengal. The campus is located adjacent to the West Bengal State University.

Facilities

This college has two hostels to provide residential and catering facilities to the outstation students (separately for boys and girls). It houses a spacious and well-equipped seminar hall to organize various co-curricular activities like guest lectures and other college functions. This college provides a library with reading room facility. The library has a nice collection of books, latest journals & periodicals, cases, reports, projects, etc. This college also has a number of classrooms equipped with latest teaching equipments. Other facilities are moot court facility, transport facility, court visit, sports facility, multi-gym, canteen, medical facility, etc.

Kingston Law College runs various law courses like BA. LL.B (Hons.), BBA. LL.B and LL.B (three years) course. This college is also working on to start B.Com LL.B programme soon. Admission

The duration of BA. LL.B (Hons.) and BBA. LL.B programme is five years and the duration of LL.B course is three years. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree for admission in LL.B – Three year course. Admissions to students will be given as per the guidelines set by the admission authority.
