KCL Institute of Laws, Jalandhar

KCL Institute of Laws, Jalandhar was established in the year 2005. The institution is running under the aegis of KCL Education Charitable Trust. It is affiliated to the Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar and approved by the Bar Council of India. The institute facilitates a sound learning experience to the students in legal education.

Campus

KCL Institute of Laws has its campus in Jalandhar city of the Indian state Punjab. It is situated near Ladowali Gurudwara Sahib, Ladowali Rd, Mohyal Nagar. The institution provides an ideal ambience for learning. The college infrastructure consisting of  separate academic and administrative block.

Facilities

The college offers a wide variety of facilities to the students. The library of KCL institute of laws is the knowledge centre housing more than 5000 books including text books and reference books, 76 national & international journals. The college has moot court room where students practice law.  The seminar hall of the college is equipped with Audio-Visual aids and having a seating capacity of  200 students. The spacious and bright classrooms provides the conducive ambience to the students. The institution also conducts extra curricular activities.

Programmes

KCL Institute of Laws, Jalandhar offers full-time Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) and Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law (B.A. LL.B.) courses. The duration of B.A. LL.B will be 5 years and LL.B. is of 3 years duration. Students who want to take admission to these courses must have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates).
