The Kaziranga University was established in 2012 by Khetan Industrial Group under the Assam Private University acts, offering education and research relevant to market needs. The University has been promoted by the Trust under the aegis of The North Eastern Knowledge Foundation (NEKF). It is a state private University with a focus on research in emerging areas of Science, Technology and Management. Kaziranga University campus is located at Koraikhowa in Jorhat, on the National Highway 37 and is well-connected by road, rail and air by various cities of the state. The university campus is spread over an area of about 50 acres. Integrated campus houses all the necessary amenities.
