Kanpur Institute of Technology & Pharmacy (KIT), Kanpur
Since its inception in 2004, Kanpur Institute of Technology is successfully shouldering monumental responsibility of producing capable technocrats and managers. KIT runs B.tech, B.Pharma, MBA, MCA and M.tech courses. The institute is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (formerly known as U.P.T.U., Lucknow) with college code 165. The courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
Campus
The campus of the KIT is located in Rooma, on Kanpur-Allahabad Highway, 6 km away from Ramadevi roundover. It is situated on a plot of 25 acre area at a prime location at express highway in Kanpur. The KIT has a sprawling and lush green campus with administrative buildings and state-of-art infrastructure. It has qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty for various courses. The institution has academic and administrative blocks with total carpet of 50,000 sq. ft.
Facilities
The laboratories studded with modern equipments, computer centers, fully Wi-Fi campus, video lecture rooms, projector based air-conditioned classrooms, air-conditioned seminar halls are just a glimpse of facilities that the students get at KIT. The KIT Institution offers the courses in many streams. It has various academic departments. It offered the degree courses in Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. Placement
KIT has a well known placement record, with students getting placed with various MNCs at good annual packages. In the academic session 2015-16 alone, more than 92 companies visited KIT campus to select more than 400 candidates of various courses of B.tech, B.Pharma, MBA, MCA and M.tech. The students are given exposure to various skills development programs during the course of their study at KIT.
