The Kanpur Institute of Technology (KIT), Kanpur was established in 2004. This institute was founded by the Indus Technical Education Society (ITES) in the year 2003. It is affiliated to the Gautam Buddha Technical University (GBTU) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
