Kamla Nehru College of Pharmacy, Nagpur

Amar Sewa Mandal, a prestigious education society has founded the Kamla Nehru College of Pharmacy, Nagpur in the year 2006. It is approved by All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. It has the permanent affiliation from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.

Campus

Kamla Nehru College of Pharmacy is located at Borkhedi Gate, near Railway Crossing, Butibori of Nagpur district. The college is spacious and well ventilated providing a peaceful environment for studying. The college is well-connected by all means of transport.

Facilities

The college has hostel facility for girls in the campus with dining hall and mess facilities. It also has spacious and well-designed seminar hall, classrooms and auditorium with audiovisual facilities. The College has an exclusive library with a large reading and study room. The library has the stock of 4609 books. Computer facility with 24-hour internet access is available to all students. Canteen facilities on Campus provide students with snacks and delectable food items for lunch and dinner. Outdoor and indoor sports such as cricket, football, volleyball and basketball is also facilitated for the all round development of the students.

Programmes

The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of pharmacy. The duration of B.Pharm is 4-years and the duration of M.Pharm is 2-years. The AICTE has sanctioned 60 seats for admission in the B.Pharm. and total 36 seats for M.Pharm programme (Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry). All the courses offered by the college are as follows:

Placement

There is no training and placement cell in Kamla Nehru College of Pharmacy, Nagpur. The college organizes various personality development and career guidance programmes. It also conducts industrial visits and educational tour for the benefit of students.
