K L University, Guntur

K L University (KLU) was established in the year 1980 as a private and self-financing institution named as the KL College of Engineering set up by the Koneru Lakshmaiah Charities, which has turned into a society in 1996 named Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation. In the year 2009, the college was recognized as the deemed to be University and got the present name “K L University”, approved by UGC. The university has NAAC accreditation and ISO 9001:2008 certification.

Campus:

The KLU is spread over in 100 acres of land, sited on the Museum Road in Green field in District Guntur, AP. The campus is eight km away from the Vijayawada city. The campus comprises in five institutions named College of Engineering, College of Science & Humanities, Business School, Academic Staff College and School of Hotel Management.

Programmes:

The KLU offers 24 UG programmes in engineering and science & humanities including 8 B.Tech programmes and 11 integrated programmes, apart from the 22 M.Tech degree programmes and PhD programmes in various disciplines in the field of engineering & technology and MBA & MA courses. Read More >>

The KLU has more than 9000 students, pursuing their study at present. The campus has around 622 faculty members from all departments.

The campus provides the 74 academic laboratories, 25 research laboratories, 6 industry labs, 4 centres of excellence, 240 Mbps internet connectivity on campus & hostel, e-learning mode of teaching, entrepreneurship cell, yoga & meditation classes, library, separate hostel for boys & girls, indoor & outdoor sports facility, post office, bank, ATM and guest house.

Activities:

The campus has organized workshops, seminars, conferences, technical festival, social activities, cultural activities, sports activities and competition, fresher party and farewell party.

Placement:
