K.B. Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (KBIPER), Gandhi Nagar

K.B. Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (KBIPER), Gandhi Nagar is the self-financed pharmacy institution established in the year 1995.  KBIPER is running under the aegis of Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal (SVKM). It is the constituent college of Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya, Gandhinagar and has been approved by the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy College of India (PCI), New Delhi.

Campus

K.B. Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research is spreding over an area of 20,000 sq. m. The campus of the institution is located in the heart of Gandhinagar city. It is situated in the Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya campus, Sector – 23 which is about 27 km from Ahmedabad city.

Facilities

The college has the great infrastructure housing 17 well ventilated laboratories; 15 multimedia enabled air-conditioned class rooms; a seminar hall; a well-equipped air-conditioned accommodating more than 15,000 books and journals. Besides this, the college has an auditorium, animal house, hostels, bank, staff quarters, student store, guest house, playground and medicinal plants garden.

Programmes

At present, the institute imparts Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral level education in the field of pharmacy. It also conducts research in emerging/thrust areas of Pharmacy. The master of pharmacy is offered in major six disciplines. Ph.D programme in pharmacy is offered in major areas such as pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmacology and pharmacognosy.
