Junagadh Agricultural University (JAU), Junagadh

The College of Agriculture, Junagadh was started functioning in the month of May, 2004. The college was affiliated to Saurashtra University, Rajkot and approved by ICAR, New Delhi. The university was established with the statewide mandate for the triple function of Agricultural Education, Research and Extension Education.

Campus

There are seven multidisciplinary Main Research Stations, five Main Research Stations; for various crops and eleven Sub Research stations/testing centres for development of new hybrids/varieties of crops. The university has also other constituent agriculture related colleges which are affiliated to the university.

Facilities

The University provides many facilities for the students in the campus. University has eminent faculty members who concentrate on each and every student of the campus. The faculty members are well-experienced and highly qualified. The institute has separate hostel facility for both boys and girls. It has well- furnished laboratories, spacious class rooms, medical facility, security systems, etc.

Junagadh Agricultural University offers education in agriculture and allied sciences i.e. Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries, Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry and Agriculture Business Management.
