The Jayaram College of Engineering and Technology, Tiruchirappalli was established in the year of 1994. The Institute was initiated by Gandhi Rural Development, Educational Trust. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Bharathidasan University. The JCET is affiliated to AUC (Anna University), Chennai.
