Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Bhagalpur
The foundation of Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College (JLNMC), Bhagalpur was laid down by the Government of Bihar in the year 1970. The former name of JLNMC is Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur university, Bhagalpur. The institution has the affiliation from Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna (previously affiliated to Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur university, Bhagalpur). The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India, New Delhi.
Campus
The campus of Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College is situated in the Bhagalpur district of the Indian state Bihar. It has the approximate campus area of around 209 acres. The campus is divided in 2 parts, one part houses College while other part will consist of hospital. The hospital is located at the distance of 2km from the college.
Facilities
The campus of the college is fully furnished with the academic facilities that include well-managed exclusive central library and spacious lecture halls. There is accommodation facility for both boys and girls, gymnasium facility for the physical development of students. It also has a large playground for conducting outdoor games. The hospital of the college provides all the modern health care facilities, It also acts as a teaching hospital where training is provided to the medical students.
