The James College of Engineering and Technology (JAMCET) are assisted by the James Memorial Charitable Trust. The College is ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institution. It is associated by the Anna University and approved by the All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The counseling code of the JAMCET is 4987.

Campus

The Campus is found near the Trivandrum-Kanyakumari National Highway. It is only a short distance (4km) from the town of Nagercoil, which is the capital of Kanyakumari district. The JAMCET has tremendous infrastructure facilities.

Facilities

There is a central library facility in the college. The library has an enormous collection of books on engineering, management and science and humanities. The College has a separate hostel which is available for both boys and girls. There is also a well established canteen, mess facility, ATM, Data Center and Gym. The JAMCET operates its own new buses in Kanyakumari District, Tirunelveli District and a few sections of Kerala.
