J.D.Women’s College, Patna

J.D.Women’s College, Patna is affiliated to Magadh University which was established in the year 1971 to impart higher education to girls. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and runs various courses in the field of management, computer science, fashioning designing and health care etc.

Campus

The campus is situated in Bailey Road, Shastri Nagar, Patna, Bihar. It has separate academic and student block and is spread in an area of 2.41 acres of land.

Facilities

The institution provides all the necessary facilities to the students for their all round development and recreation such as well-equipped library which has a collection of books including management books, journals, periodicals and online databases, air-conditioned and spacious classrooms, well-facilitated computer centres, conference hall, an auditorium for various cultural events, wi-fi facility, language lab and various other recreational facilities like gymnasium, cafeteria and sports facility etc.

Programmes

J.D.Women’s College offers two-year full-time programme in Master of Business Administration (MBA). The students have to do the compulsory summer internships training after completing their first year. In first year the students are exposed to basic concepts in the areas of Marketing Management,Human Resource Management, Finance Management, Quantitative methods and Behavioral Sciences to clear their basics and in the second year students can take any of the specialization of their interest.
