International Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kurukshetra

International Institute of Engineering & Technology (IIET) has been established in the year 2007 by the SR Educational Society. The IIET is a private and self-financing institution affiliated to the Kurukshetra University. The IIET is approved by the AICTE and Govt. of Haryana (DTE).

Campus:

The IIET campus is spread over in 16 acres land sited on the Chandigarh – Delhi National Highway-1 in Village Samani at Tehsil Thanesar in District Kurukshetra, Haryana. The campus is 9 km from the town Thanesar and 7 km from the Kurukshetra City.

Programmes:

The IIET institution conducts the 4 year B.Tech degree programme in five disciplines of engineering & technology.

Students & Faculty:

The IIET has 46 faculty members from all departments of engineering & technology and around 300 seats as the annual intake capacity in all programmes.

Facilities:

The IIET campus provides 24 hour security on campus and hostel, separate hostel for boys and girls, buses for transportation for the students and staff, unique & mandatory dress code, book bank facility, air-conditioned and digital library, A/C lecture rooms, A/C computer labs and science laboratories, health care facility, indoor and outdoor games facility, and round the clock electricity and water supply.

Activities:

The IIET organizes the co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The IIET has participated in the national level boxing competition and dragged the medal. The campus organizes the rangoli and orientation programme.

Placement:

The Training & placement cell is an individual department of IIET to take care of the training and placement of the students in various reputed companies by developing their (students) skills through PDP, guest lecture, GD and PPT.
