Institute of Management and Information Technology, Cuttak
Institute of Management and Information Technology (IMIT) was founded in the year of 1962. The Institution is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) and approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education. It is a premier institute and a constituent college of BPUT. The Institution is formerly known as College of Accountancy and Management Studies (CAMS).
Campus
The Institution campus is located in the city of Cuttack that is situated in the eastern part of the state of Odisha, India. The IMIT is well-connected with railway, airway and roadway. The nearest railway station in Cuttack is just away from 2 kms from the institution. The nearest airport is located 30 km far from campus in Bhubaneswar.
Facilities
IMIT has a library consisting of around 40,000 books. The institution also provides hostel facility for women only that is well-established with mess facility. There is also a facility of well-equipped classrooms, cafeteria, labs, workshops, auditorium and sports facility.

Placement
The Placement Cell is an important part of the institute. IMIT has a self-governing placement cell that focused to provide the needs of the top organizations in organizing campus interviews for the students. The T & P cell gives guidance and helps the students in order to get their career goals. Group discussions, pre-placement talks and aptitude tests are arranged at regular intervals to enable the students to get better their performance in the campus placement.
