Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi is popularly known as IIIT-D was established in the year 2008 as a state University by an act of Delhi Government with the support of the Government of NCT of Delhi. The college is an autonomous university and recognized as a national importance institute by AICTE. The university is research oriented, focused on doing research at graduate and postgraduate levels.

Campus:

The IIIT Delhi is located at Okhla Phase-III, in New Delhi. The university was originally functioned from its transit campus in the library building at NSIT in Dwarka. The permanent campus of the university is spread over 25 acres located in Okhla.
