Indian Institute of Plantation Management, Bangalore

Indian Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM) is the world-renowned academic institution that was formed in the year of 1993. IIPM is an autonomous institution that is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). The Institution is promoted by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India. It is registered under the Karnataka Society Registration Act.

Campus

The IIPM campus is situated in Jnana Bharathi Campus, Bangalore, Karnataka. The Institution has an extensive and aesthetically designed campus that has a huge area of garden and playground. It has a state-of-art infrastructure with the modern facilities and equipments.

Facilities

The Institution has a computer center that has a more than 30 high speed processors. It has high speed internet facility through BSNL Broadband connection. There is a modern library that is equipped with internet connection. The Library has a rich collection of periodicals, 8000 books, 140 National and international journals, project reports, CDs and audio & video cassettes. The Institution has a separate hostel facility for girls and boys.

Programmes

The Indian Institute of Plantation Management offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) in the specializations of Agri-Business & Plantation Management.

Placement

The Training and placement cell of the IIPM play an interaction between the industry and students. The placement cell arranges group discussion, pre-placement talks, and industrial visits, campus interviews for the skill and personality development of the students. It also coordinates the Campus Placement Program to every student to fulfill its commitment of a job. The main recruiters of the Institution are HDFC Bank, ICCOA, NCDEX, United Phosphorus limited, Nirmal Bang and so many.
