Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ranchi started functioning in the year of 2010 with 44 students. IIM Ranchi is the ninth Indian Institute of Management of India. It is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India.

Campus

The IIM Ranchi is situated on Suchana Bhawan Audrey House Campus, Meur’s Road & Kanka Rd, Ranchi, Jharkhand. The campus has an academic block that is composed of six aesthetically composed classrooms furnished with all the required advanced facilities. The Institution student block has recently moved to the residential block of the sports village a.k.a. Khelgaon that is situated on the edge of Ranchi.

Facilities

The Institution has an air-conditioned smart classrooms and a hall for facilitating meetings and other formal social affairs. The hostel rooms are very much outfitted individual room with a recent aesthetic appeal. Canteen and Mess facilities are available. There is a 24-hour best in class WiFi connectivity. There is also a fully functional gym, indoor games facility such as Table Tennis, Carrom and Chess. The Institution has a state of the art library with a varied collection of both print and electronic format that is consists of books, diaries, databases, e-journals, reports, CDs/DVDs etc.

Programmes

The IIM Ranchi provides post-graduate programmes at a level equivalent to MBA and also a full-time Ph.D program. It also offers part-time executive program.

Placement

The Placement cell functioning in the IIM Ranchi is entrusted with the liability of managing students for placement in trustworthy companies. The T & P cell arranges summer internship in reputed multinational companies and institutions in India. It also organizes group discussions, seminars and mock interviews as a part of career guidance and personality development. Our major recruiters are: TATA, Yes Bank, Samsung, HCL, Wipro, ICICI Bank, Google, Maruti Suzuki, Microsoft, etc.
