Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) was established in the year 1973. It was the third IIM to be established after IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta. It is consistently ranked as one of the best business schools in Asia Pacific region and India. The institution is also engaged in facilitating research, conducting academic conferences, seminars and publishing journals.

Campus

The campus occupies an area of over 100 acres and is located in South Bangalore. It provides all the necessary facilities to the students for their recreation and all round development. It has a state of art infrastructure with separate academic and student block.

The institution provides all the necessary facilities to the students such as library which has a collection of management books, national and international journals, periodicals and online databases, a well facilitated computer centre, auditorium, conference hall, air conditioned classrooms, cafeteria, sports facility etc are provided by the institution.

Programmes

The institution offers Post Graduate Programme in Management, Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management (PGPPM), Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM). It also offers Executive Post Graduate programmes for the working professionals. and Fellow Programme in Management (FPM).

Placement

The institution has a training and placement cell which provide placement assistance as well as summer internships to the students. It also arranges for industrial visits for the students.
