Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad
Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) is a deemed University and the centre of excellence in information technology. It was established in the year 1999 by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India, and become a deemed in the year 2000 by the UGC and is authorized to award the degrees. The college is approved by AICTE and MHRD, New Delhi. It is recognized by the Board of Technical Education, State Government of UP.
Campus:
The campus is situated on Peepalgaon Road, Deoghat at Jhalwa town in Allahabad the district of UP. The campus is 10 Km away from the Allahabad city centre and 7 km from the Allahabad Railway Station. The campus is very well-connected by the roads and rail. The fully lush green sprawling campus is spread over an area of 100 acres of well-developed land surrounded by green landscape and lawn garden with seasonal plants. The campus has awarded as an Institute of National Importance.

More than 1500 students are pursuing their degrees from IIIT because of the top ranked among institutes in the country.
