Indian Institute of Health Management & Research University (IIHMR), Jaipur

The Indian Institute of Health Management & Research University (IIHMR) is an Institute for Health & Hospital Management. It was established in 1984 in Jaipur. IIHMR is the first of its kind in India, with a focused on health system research and management. The institute’s campus is located near Sanganer Airport. It is affiliate to UGC and approved by the AICTE. It offers the various courses in its different campuses in different places.

Campus

The campus of the IIHMR is spread over the lush green land of 14 acres. A number of guest houses located on the campus. There is residential complex which have flats for the staff members. It has its own bus facilities for day scholars. The faculty members in the campus are highly qualified and experienced.

Facilities

The facilities at the institute are of international standard. The main building has an academic block, a computer center, a library and documentation center. It has also a conference hall, an auditorium, an MDP center, seminar rooms, tutorial rooms and lecture halls. There are three hostel buildings which can accommodate as many as 187 students. It has little flat away from the campus. The complex has a jogging track, tennis and badminton courts, and a mini playground for the students.

Programmes

The IIHMR offers programmes in: Management Research, Education & Training; Planning, Designing and conducting Management Training for Health Professionals; Project Planning and Management; Survey Research; Social Assessment; Quality Assurance; e-Learning, etc. The institute currently awards MBA/Postgraduate Diplomas with specialization in Pharmaceutical Management.

The IIHMR University offers full a two-year full-time MBA in Pharmaceutical Management (MBA-PM). The Program has an intake capacity of 60 seats.

Placement

The IIHMR University, Jaipur take care of the placement very first. The alumni of the University secured placements with Public and Healthcare organizations. The companies who visited the campus for placement are national or international level. All the graduates of hospital and health have been placed. The salary range of these students has shown an excellent hike with passage of time.
