All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur

The foundation of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur was laid down in the year 2012. It is the autonomous institution run under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The course of the study has been prepared as per the guidelines of Medical Council of India (MCI).

Campus

The institution is located at the heart of the Basni city, Jodhpur. The campus of the college is situated in Nahar road, Industrial area Phase II of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The city is well-networked by airs, rails and roads.

Facilities

AIIMS, Jodhpur provides extensive facilities to the students. It has the separate hostel facility for undergraduate girls and boys. Also, it provides the residential facility to nurses and nursing students. Availability of guest house in the college campus for providing accommodation to guests. The college also arranges the workshops time to time. It has well-equipped laboratories of several departments, lecture halls has the facility of modern learning aids, canteen and mess facility, cafeteria serves various kinds of refreshments, an exclusive library that contains medical books, availability of conveyance facility and sports facility.

Programmes

The college runs undergraduate courses in the medical field. It offers full-time MBBS course that has the duration of 4 and a half year followed by one year mandatory rotatory internship. Students are admitted to this course through the entrance examination known as AIIMS. Minimum age of 17 years is required to apply for this programme. Also, the college has the well-established research cell for carrying out research activities.
