Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), Mumbai

The Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) is a deemed university which combined some constituent institutions. There are 10 constituent institutions of HBNI in India. The HBNI is established in the year of 2005. It is approved by MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development). The Institution is a research Institute and educates students at the doctoral and masters level, and seeks after examination as per its command. The Institution is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).

Campus

The Campus of HBNI is situated in BARC Training School Complex, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai. The campus has a scholastic infrastructure for a coordinating fundamental examination with technology advancement and empowering between disciplinary explorations. The HBNI is placed on Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) campus. There is a large playground facility with good environment for the concentration of the students in the studies.

Facilities

The Institution provides the facilities of Research Reactors, Accelerators and Tokamaks and Computational Facilities. The HBNI has labs which are well equipped with latest equipments, library (well-stocked with lots of journal and books) and classroom facilities.
