Himgiri Zee University, Dehradun

Himgiri Zee University, Dehradun was established in the year 2003. It is a private university and is approved by UGC. The university has been established to meet the growing demand for trained human resources in various sectors. All the law courses are approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi. The University also offers education in agriculture domain.

Campus

The university is located in Dehradun. The campus is spread over 50 acres of land. The university is easily accessible by road, rail and air transportation.

Facilities

The university provides all the necessary facilities to the students such as library which is stocked with more than 30,000 books, 4000 titles and a number of journals and reports that cover all subjects, air-conditioned class rooms, well facilitated computer labs, auditorium, conference room and various other recreational facilities like canteen, medical facility, sports facility, swimming pool etc.

The university offers degree in Master of Business Administration (MBA). The duration of the course is two years which is divided into four semesters. The university offers various specializations in MBA programme. Department of Law offers three years Bachelor of Law (LLB) & five years of Bachelor of Business Administration & Bachelor of Law (BBA LLB). The University has School of Agriculture and Forestry which offers UG and PG agriculture courses.

Placement

The institution has a training and placement cell which is headed by the placement officer. The placement cell arranges for various activities like pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussions, and interviews as per the requirements of the organizations. The placement cell organizes campus recruitment for the students with industries and various organizations of repute firm from all over India. It also prepare students for campus recruitment by arranging training in aptitude tests, group discussions, preparing for technical and HR interviews through professional trainers.
