Gurukul Vidyapeeth Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala

Gurukul Vidyapeeth Institute of Engineering and Technology, (GVIET) Patiala is a private aided institution established in the year 2008. The college is promoted by Gurukul educational and charitable trust with the objective of imparting quality education among the youth of Punjab. The college is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU), recognized by ministry of HRD, government of India and approved by AICTE New Delhi.

Campus:

The GVIET is located at Chandigarh-Patiala highway in Ramnagar-Banur, in the district Patiala of Punjab state. The college campus is spread in an area of 40 acres of land. The college is well connected to all major cities of Punjab.

Programmes:

The college is offering ten courses in graduate and four courses in a postgraduate engineering discipline. The college is also offering various courses in management and polytechnic discipline. The courses offered by the college are approved by AICTE and affiliated to PTU.

Facilities:

The college has fully WI-fi campus, state of the art labs and workshops, spacious and digi classrooms. The college has fully featured computer lab with apple iMac pc’s and Sun Microsystem client technology. The lab is operational round the clock and 365 days a year. The college has well stocked library having good collection of books and journals and subscription to all major national and regional daily newspapers and magazines. The college also provides facilities like separate hostel facility for boys and girls, sports facility, banking facility, transportation facility etc.

Placement:

The Training and placement cell of GVIET deals with all the placement and training related activities. The main objective of the cell is to place the maximum number of students in the leading companies of the world. The cell conducts various programs to enhance the overall personality of the students.
