Guru Nanak Institutions, Ambala

Guru Nanak Institutions (GNI) housed in two institutions as ‘Guru Nanak Institute of Technology’ (GNIT) and ‘Guru Nanak Institute of Management’ (GNIM). Both of the institutions were established together in the same year 2008 as the private and self-financing institutions, managed by the Mela Singh Memorial and Educational Trust. Both of the colleges are affiliated to the Kurukshetra University and approved by the AICTE, Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana and state government of Haryana. The GNIT and GNIM are ISO 9001:2008 certified institutions.

Campus:

The GNI campus is situated on the Ambala – Jagadhari National Highway-73 in Village Sohana and Tehsil Mullana in Ambala District of Haryana State. The campus is located on the outskirt of the City. The GNI campus is 16 km away from the Ambala City, 23 km from Jagadhari and 26 Km from Yamuna Nagar. The GNI campus is well-accessible from the major parts of the country.

Programmes:

In GNI campus, the GNIT offers the four-year full-time B.Tech programme in four and two-year full-time M.Tech programme in two, disciplines of engineering and technology. The GNIM offers the two-year full-time MBA programme in six branches of management study.

Students & Faculty:

Both, the GNIT and GNIM are offering 730 seats as annual intake for admission in all programmes. On GNI campus, there is total 126 (110 in GNIT and 16 in GNIM) faculty members in all departments.

Facilities:

The GNI campus has good learning resources as lecture halls, computing facilities, science & technology labs, seminar hall, conference hall, central library and book bank scheme. The campus provides the services to the students like a cafeteria, hostel for boys’, hostel for girls’, medical care, transport, gymnasium and sports facilities.

Apart from the academic education, the GNI means the co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The GNI organizes various club activities headed by a responsible faculty and conducted by a team of students.

The GNI has tied-up with many reputed companies for summer training, industry-interaction, industrial visits and corporate speak. There is an industry incubation centre on the campus for providing the job placement.
