Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology, Kolkata was established in 2005. It is affiliated with West Bengal university of Technology and approved by the AICTE. The institution offers only Degree course of Bachelor in various disciplines. The mission of the institution is to prepare outstanding pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists to meet the health care needs of the diverse populations of the state and society.
Campus
The institution has many other institutes affiliated to the Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology. It offers the total of 58 programmes in its 22 affiliated colleges. The total strength of the students with combining all colleges is around 2100 students. All colleges have the experienced and qualified faculty in their academics. The campus is sprawled over 37 acres in the land of Panihati, Kolkata. The campus of the institution has the-state-of-art academic infrastructure.
Facilities
The institution has well-equipped laboratories with all modern technologies. It has computer labs in which computers are equipped with latest software’s and hi-speed internet connectivity. The library is available in the academic section of the campus in which numbers of book are available of Indian and Foreign writers. It has also a hostel facility for boys and girls. The canteen is also available in the campus.
Programmes
The GNIPST offers the Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Hospital Management, Bachelor of Science in Bio-technology and Bachelor of Micro-biology courses. It also offered Bachelor of Pharmacy of duration of four years full time degree. The pharmacy course is affiliated to WBUT and accredited by AICTE. The course offered by the institute is:

In order to take admission in the equivalent course the candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board. Selection will be based as per the university norms.
