Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal

Graphic Era Hill University (GEHU) has two campuses, one of is in Dehradun and another one is in Bhimtal, Nainital. The GEHU, Bhimtal campus has been established in the year 2011 by the Graphic Era Educational Society. Same as the Dehradun campus, the Bhimtal campus also has the status of a Deemed to be University which is approved by the UGC and accredited as the ISO 9001:2008 certified institution.

Campus:

The GEHU, Bhimtal campus is sited on the Sattal Road in the serene view of Bhimtal in Nainital, the district of Uttarakhand. The campus is 17 km away from the Kathgodam Railway Station and 22 km from the Nainital. The Bhimtal campus is sprawling beside the Bhimtal Lake view.

Programmes:

The GEHU, Bhimtal campus conducts 10 UG courses, 4 PG courses and 2 doctoral courses in the field of engineering, management, Law, and computer application. Read More >>

Faculty:

The campus has a team of 41 faculty members from all departments.

Facilities:

The campus provides the academic facilities like well-stocked library, spacious classrooms, laboratories, conference hall, seminar hall, workshop, internet facility and a separate digital library. The campus provides the campus facilities like sports facility, transportation, medical care, banking & ATM and STD services. The campus has a computer centre with over 940 PCs and separate accommodation for boys & girls with over 1500 bedding capacity. The campus has been also provided the online Learning Management System Moodle (LMSM) for students and faculties alike.

Activities:

The campus organizes personality enhancement programme, regular industrial visits, guest lectures, faculty development programme, seminar and workshops. The campus participates or organizes the cultural and sports competition. All of these are done for the creating industry –ready students.

Placement:

The GEHU, Bhimtal campus has a placement cell which conducts the pre-placement paper, ppt, communication skill and industrial exposure. The campus has collaborated and tied-up with several industries for internship training and job placement. Read more >>
